1. Producers have big influence over their projects ... someone hires the writer and director and Bay will have final word on the script and he probably has final cut.

2. Liebsman doesn't have enough clout to control this project.

3. Using Battle LA as your argument ... come on man.

And again, if Transformers: LA is the best defense you got for the guy, then the prosectuion rests your Honor...

@Dubya, bay's never really hijacked the filming of another persons film before, so why start  now?

You are talking about the scripts more than direction, as it's just a director's job to give a script life, and all of his film while generic are solid in direction and action filming

Bbecause if you look at Bay produced film, they usually have the problem of bad scripts, but besides that they nothing in common with Bay's directed films. I know bay is a hands off producer.

And? Filmmakers can't work on two or more projects at once? Especially one of Bay's stature?

And it's not like Lieberman is exactly reinventing the wheel himself either. Battle: LA and the Titans movies were two of the most boringly generic action movies to come out in the past few years; he's leading the pack in the Michael Bay lite hacks.

Seriously though, what producer DOESN'T have a stamp in the productions they produce, especially when they're directors themselves? Del Toro productions have a certain feel, Apatow productions have a certain feel, P. Jackson productions have a certain feel, Spielberg productions have a certain feel to them even when those guys aren't right in the director's seat. Why you seem so convinced it's going to be any different with Bay is beyond me.

Producers have the ULTIMATE power, duh...

mike is gonna be busy with TF4(filming this year a well) Dubya, also as they haven't even shot anything how the fuck do you know what trappings it will be.
