I'm pretty sure it's becuase the cartoons are classic and have humor that actually makes sense, while the movies have to CGI the main characters/make them live action and have fart jokes. But hey, different strokes for different folks.

You actually liked both Scooby Doo movies? I personally loathe them like all these other cartoons turned CGI films.

I actually like Scooby-Doo 2 Monsters Unleashed better than the first one because the tone of the moviie is brighter and Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar play their roles better.
