Comment by Lavender Uke on February 8, 2013 at 10:10am Warcraft 3, Chen Stormstout was in the Orc campaign as a PC and I think he was canon. There were other pandarens and retextured furblogs but they were just easter eggs.
And you didn't offend me.

Comment by Lavender Uke on February 8, 2013 at 9:44am Oh for fucksake! Don't pull that!
1) Pandarens were canon already.
2) WOW already had:
-Dinosaurs
-Wiley coyote steamppunk cities
-Spaceships
-Laser-firing robot transformer things
-Rock concerts
-Wolf people and cow people, not to mention space goats!
-Rasta-trolls
-Crap tonne of pop-cultural reference, especially a quest involving a big daddy that nends with you getting ice cream from the general.
Comment by Chris Kelly on February 8, 2013 at 9:09am I don't know. Aside from my personal poverty, my interest in WOW stopped at this expansion. I liked how the traditional fantasy element (knights, dragons, orcs, etc.) was the prevalent theme, but to me personally, putting "Kung Fu Panda" into WOW was a mistake. I like Kung Fu Panda (at least the first movie, haven't seen the second one) but I don't see where it has a place in the WOW universe.
That being said, I'm willing to accept that they might have done a great job weaving a Kung Fu Panda-esque theme into WOW, but my first thought was "Pandas in WOW? Really?". Am I completely off base?
