hm, maybe its nostalgia, or maybe i've been seeing the wrong movies. I don't think I ever will look back on the movies I saw this year fondly though. I hope there are better movies in March or May! That would be excellent

I'd say wait till March or May that's when better movies come out. The real trend anyway is forced/unnessary sequals: ex. Taken 2, Hangover III, and PA sequals

Every year people say that, every year it's no better or worse than the previous year. Nostalgia is painting over the painful moments. Now, the REAL movie trend is, pushing ticket prices for stuff you don't necessarily need to pay MORE for: 48fps, 3-D, D-box, etc.
