1. Either damn way it's still condescending as hell.

2. Don't even get me started on how stupid the "if you don't like it, don't watch it" bit is....I watched the fucking movie, now I'm criticizing it. That's how it fucking works, dumbass.

He NEVER said it was for black people in general! He said young black kids, and a western hero. Which he did, Korey misquotes pathetically sometimes. Grow the fuck up already Dubya, you don't like it? Don't fucking look.

Oh I will use QT's lack of effort into his overrated scripts against him. That's why the movie sucks; it's just immature and lazy and flat out condescending. The way he's going about "Oh I made this film for black people so I can give them a hero and blah blah" nonsense is fucking idiotic and is just one thing that shows just how much of a juvenile/self-indulgent little passion project that this piece of shit was.

People shouldn't use it as a way to attack Tarantino personally, I mean he ain't going to care what you call him. But Tarantino knows it isn't historically accurate, he said on TV (on the BBC) it fits in with the whole Inglourious Basterds universe. But I've noticed, Korey and Leon, especially Leon have a problem with the n-word being used because they are older, while the younger black Spilios really don't seem to care. I don't know.

Basically Mr. Rock here is pointing out how silly it is that people have to make such a proud, joyous, LAWD I JUST BEEN SET FREE grand production out of saying the damn word. If you know and they know you aren't saying it in a derogatory manner, no one gives a shit. Just fucking say it. You aren't breaking any taboos like you think you are, so seriously shut the fuck up already and stop acting like a clown that gets off on saying dirty words.

Back into context with Unchained, it's not even HISTORICALLY ACCURATE as the same dumbshits I was just talking about claim it to be.

One simple Google Image search of routine slave posters would show you that either "Negro" or just "Slave" were used. AND EVEN STILL it wasn't really considered a derogatory term or exclusively for blacks until about the 1900's (the film is set will before then) So right off the bat that excuse of "Well that's how it was" is a steaming pile of bullshit since there is documentation of saying the opposite.

It's just a bunch of dumbshit little white kids who think they're "edgy/cool" by overusing a word that they "aren't allowed to say" in their desperate attempts to seem defiant against society or some other Gen-X bullshit they keep worshiping as they listen to Nirvana unironically.

And for most of his filmography, QT has been the posterboy of that demographic. He's a massively egotistical prick who thinks he's WAY more important than he really is, and everything about Unchained and every interview he's given about Unchained (ESPECIALLY that laughable/headache-inducing "I'm shutting your butt down!" nonsense) shows that. He's the very definition of a Try-Too-Hard.

It got worse when Sharpton got involved, seriously, does that guy need to whine about everything? but yeah, it got confusing

Django Unchained is racist...it's too stupid to be racist.

Not really but I don't think the film is.
