I played the demo, liked the humour, but it was just so button mashy I couldn't be arsed buying the full product. I mean I'm sure the originals were like that, but I think in 2013 action games really should go beyond pressing one button for ages.

As a Devil May Cry game, DmC is objectively bad in almost every way. (Except perhaps level design)
Judging it on it's own merits, it's a mediocre action game with abysmal writing.
