greetings Leon, it the name you love to hate and i got a question for ACOCO.Whats your take on steaming new movie releases live, using a online streaming device at home ? Do you think that people will still need that theater experience? Thanx and much love
Thanks for answering my question on LEOG. Yes it is about changing myself. I guess I should not get all my philosophy from Gregory House. I want to change, but I suck at it and never get far. Also, yes Leon, Wodenson as in Son of Woden or more commonly Odin. I guess I have to wait for my batman moment as Harris calls it or maybe this can be the catalyst I needed. Lastly, this is not for any one person in particular this is just about becoming a better me.
I thought Fantastic Four Season One to be overvalued at $24.99...
1. The pedestrian linear story-telling and sophmoric dialogue would make you return the book if not for David Marquez's art.
2. Back up story is a re-print of Hickman's first issue on Fantastic Four is a double slap. I thought Marvel was done with this crap after charging $10 for an annual.
At best, I would value this book closer to $14 Hardcover. But it's not a must buy...and for guys like us who have read the original Stan Lee Fantastic Four issues, it's not even worth a borrow unless you are THAT much of a fan of the artist.
Before I take part in Midtown Comics President's Day sale...I want to make sure this is what you were referring to:
Absolute Planetary Book 1
I had the manager pull it aside for me as well as The Girls...It will be in your hands in a couple weeks from Saturday. Why a couple weeks? Well, I wanted to include the ENTIRE NY B&V. Since every one works crazy hours it's going to take 2 weeks to hunt down 34 signatures...but trust me when I say, it's a labor of love. Gotta give hard working people the opportunity to contribute even when they don't have the luxury of hanging out all the time.
Also, in that 2 weeks time, I will mail with your goods, the other LEOG members cache of goods.
You have till Saturday before I make my purchases final.
Thank you for the nice (albeit indirect) compliment on the latest LEOG. I actually had been asking more derpy questions on purpose as of late because I figured you guys might be tired of my complicated questions given the time constraints of each episode due to the fact you have so many well rounded segments these days instead of the wild west shoot-outs that were the LEOGs of yesteryear. I shall endeavor to live up to this praise by raising my game back to where it should be, which is giving you my best.
Thank you for introducing Breaking Bad to me on ACOCO. I cannot remember which one but it is an old one. I liked the idea of a teacher being a drug manufacturer and the reason for the choice as a professional criminal lol. I had watched season 1 and couldn't stop until I had to when there were no more seasons after 4. I wish Gus didn't died in 4. You were right about having a weird connection to Walter evening when he was doing so much wrong. Seeing him turn gradually from a decent person to and evil individual in each season was enjoyable. Thanks again for the indirect recommendation. Long live ACOCO!
I can already tell you, they are ALL included. Like I said, it's that ONE big sale where every one saves their coin. The advantage I have, this is where not ordering by mail saves you...the owners know me and I am able to reserve things well before the sale goes down. So I will definitely let you know...minus one of course. ;)
Just to be CLEAR, and you can ask Cyrus and Spider John to back me up in my private messages.
I NEVER looked at sending stuff as gratuity. I don't keep score. I look at it as making an old friend's day a little brighter. Cause let's be honest those of us approaching 40 or well into their 40s understand....comic books are little pleasures that can make a difference. You need that from your friends.
