In a last ditch effort with the impending doom of our beloved Spill.com. Myself and another spill member thought it might be a good idea to unite members in our area. Here is her FB link so please contact Alejandra Calderon (aka Persica Flynn on…See More
Hey Korey, any way you could inbox or post here your email address to me. I have been a huge fan of Spill since 2008 and want to thank you and everyone more personally. Thanks!! You guys are amazing and while I am ridiculously sad this is ending, I cant wait to see what you do next.
Long time listener but always played the background. I was just getting hyped for I was going to try to get to the 20114 spill.con and now that isn't a possibility. Listening to the different shows over the years has been a way for me to tap into a different circle of people I wouldn't have had the chance to interact with normally. And every joke, anecdote, piece of social and political commentary was a breath of fresh air. This can't end. the next step will be taken and Ichope I can be a part of it when it's made.
I love you guys! I can't wait for your next adventure! Please keep doing what you are doing. You are so much more talented than so many people out there on TV, radio, and the internet. I know you will succeed in your next endeavor. Please just keep us informed when you can. Your fans are here to support you!!! ^_^
As the king of New Zealand, you have my support, even though my country’s population is probably less than Austin’s. I’ll make SURE that all Nay Sayers, of you continuing, will be hung until half dead and then have their bowls cut out and burned in front of them. And then, they will have my permission to die. And if you think for even a MINUTE that you won’t keep going on, the same will happen to you :)
Max Payne(HORRIBLE MOVIE). That was the first review that I heard from you guys. I think that I was already in the stage of subjectively viewing films and you guys introduced me to finding ways to express how I would felt about certain things. I remember the ACOCO podcast when you said that there were certain people that shouldn't really hang around you(Christians, scientist, etc). I'd probably be one of those people. Even though I may not always agree with certain viewpoints as far as life as well as film, I LOVE hearing you guys regardless. If you have plans to move to something new, I can say goodbye to the site, but I can't really say goodbye to the gang. Keep me informed on the next project. Love you guys.
hey Korey I know how much you like animation and appreciate the art of animation.I would like to suggest a French animation movie by the name of " Le Roi et l'oiseau" which translates to the King and the bird. the movie is considered a Masterpiece, and also was cited by Miyazaki as having a a profound influence on him.
the movie is just amazing the art work is beautiful, and the story behind the movie and how it came to be, from how it began in 1948 then stopping of production while the movie was unfinished and how the director obtained the rights for the movie years later and finished the movie 30 years since the project began.
I was introduced to this movie through my father who is a movie critic and was the president of the Bahrain cinema club ( the only place in my country where film enthusiast can meet) during the early 90s when i was a kid, they use to screen a lot of independent foreign films there. i remember watching it only once with Arabic subtitles and maybe once or twice with English subtitle , and later on my father was able to find a VHS copy of the movie with no subtitle and that was the one i watched over and over and over and i just love this movie , but now the DVD i have of it has no English or arabic subtitle and i dont mind because the art and the movie conveys all the emotions in it so good.
this is my all time favorite Animation movie for more than nostalgic movies, if you have not seen this movie yet i highly recommend it. i assumed you have not watched it because i searched for it on the site and couldn't find anything.
I've been listening to you guys since ''09 and I have thoroughly enjoyed everything you guys have put up on this site. I can't wait to see what you guys do next, and I fully support all of your future projects.
Korey, Im doing my best to catch your attention so you can read what I have to say...so bare with me and my long comment. I have been raised on Spill. Im currently 17 and a senior in High school on my way to Ball State University. Ive been part of the site for 2 years and been listening for about 5 years when I first peeked over my sisters shoulder to see what site she was on so much. That was the gateway to my discovery of the site. Like most people i went through my marathon of video reviews. Which lead to my love of the podcasts. Over the years You, Leon, Co-Host, Jason Murphy, Jeff, and especially Billy has fueled my love for comedy, movies, video games, my dream to become a comedian. As a young boy my personality, look on life, and sense of humor was affected by you and the site. I was raised without a father but I do see you as role model for a wise, funny, and intelligent Black man I hope to be. Ive always wanted to tell you this...but never found the time. You responding to this comment would be better then any christmas gift I could ever have. You are the only celebrity ive wanted to meet the most and I hope to one day. (but too some up this huge paragraph i just wanted to tell you how important you are to my life because spill was my favorite pass time). Secondly, In your next project...i ask you to consider to teaming back up with some of the most loved guys who used to be on the site (Carlyle, Jeff, Jason, Nick, Kevin.....the guys who were on LOEG, BILLY!!!) Thanks again Korey.
P.S. I will send a copy of this to others as well.
I would like to thank you and the rest the of the Spill crew for inspiring and help me take pride in my self and skills, It has been a great journey watching and listening to you guys since 2008 and I truly wouldn't want to give it up for anything in the world.
I wish you the best of luck in all you'r future projects and hopefully the Spill community, my self included will have the privilege of being part in them like we did at Spill.
Again a heart filled thank you for what you and the rest of the crew and as always,
