OH MY GOD! You're Satan! No wonder! XD. I was just kidding about Burton's films having any kind of power. They just had a certain influence. They showed that Batman can be dark instead of campy. Of course, things fell off the mark again and Nolan had to come in to set things straight. The one thing that the pre-Nolan Batman films established for the movie-going public that Nolan thankfully kept (and even strengthened) was the father/son relationship between Alfred and Bruce. One of my favorite lines from Batman '89 is when Vicki Vale asks about Bruce's family and he says, "Alfred is my family."

Btw, is the original script for Batman '89 as great as they say it is?

Thanks Beau, that was just what I was looking for. I have absolutely no clue where the story is going to go, but it is a fun ride nonetheless. It has been refreshing reading a comic with so much substance in only 23 pages. And yes I know there's nothing quite like Alan Moore, he's a strange beast of his own kind.

Hey there Beau, I was wondering if you could recommend any runs in the DC universe of lesser known characters. Something similar to Alan Moore, as in something bat-shit crazy but still has a well constructed and thought out story. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Beau, It's HC. We've never talked before so maybe I can spark a small convo. I gave this same comment to Leon but I want all the Leagues opinion...if I can. Anyway, where I live there aren't any comic readers except me, so it seems. Everyone’s info they have on comic heroes and villains are based on the movies, and with Stuff like “BATMAN and ROBIN” out there…I can’t let these minds stay this way. The League is the only place I know to turn, for GOOD Comic Knowledge. I get asked a lot of comic questions by friends, they think because I like comics I must know all, Ha ha ha…No. I want to give them something accurate, however that’s hard to sometimes because so many writers have THERE VERSION of a character (X-MEN). With so many different variations of a character, how do I know what's the right one? Is there a right one? What’s the Best One? Or am I getting into a game of, “It’s just anyone’s opinion.”? I don’t want to confuse anyone who may have questions and I certainly don’t want to turn them off and have them miss out on Comic Book experiences.
