The violence in Let Me In didn't bother me that much because that movie focused more on the friendship between Owen and Abby. My mom doesn't let me watch that many scary movies because they sometimes mess up my central nervous system causing me to go into a joyless mood. I want to see Carrie so I can prove to some of the members of Spill.com that I'm expanding my horizons by watching movies like:
2001 A Space Odyssey
Under the Same Moon
Facing the Giants
500) Days of Summer
The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
To Kill a Mockingbird
Let Me In
Dead Poets Society
Shakespeare in Love
The Social Network
The Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Me and Orson Welles
Midnight In Paris
Zero Dark Thirty
Oz The Great and Powerful
The Wizard of Oz
I Am Sam
The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey
The Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring
The Perks of Being a Wallflower
to name a few.
I'll rent Carrie went it's out on DVD in Feburary.
Lol there's some interesting characters in here that's for sure! but YES! it's funny I just checked my page today after I heard 2 podcasts. Awesomeness... I was cracking up at work really made time fly. I might have to jump into the league of extraordinary men next thanks :D
Fungusmonkey just told me that if The Spill.com Crew does make a video movie review of Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules I will have a cameo in it.
It is a wonderful feeling to be forever immortalized in the audio movie review of Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules.
and yes, yes.... I am well aware that I have inspired some die-hard fans of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2 to be a part of The Spill.com Crew's movie audio review of both movies respectively.
:) That's good to find people who are just themselves. I have came into contact with only a few throughout my lifetime.
Oooh, some of the movies you have mentioned seem interesting. I would have to agree with, I am not too much into the love story/chic flick movies. I will admit to liking "P.S. I Love You" && "The Notebook". Took me a while to watch "P.s. I Love You" because I don't really care for Hilary Swank. (If that's how you spell her name) but I really liked the movie. I am going to have to check out those movies you mentioned.
