If it's crap ... We'll tell you
As many of you know I'm on the last day of my trip in Istanbul, Turkey. The whole time I've managed to both have a good time while simultaneously balancing work. In other words, my two weeks here have gone off without a hitch - until tonight. Life looked at me and said, "Now come on, when have I EVER made it that easy for you? Now bend over!"
Okay, maybe I'm being a little dramatic, but it does seem funny that on the night before I leave this wonderful country the power goes out. Not in the whole city. Not on the whole block. Just in the tiny building where I'm staying. I guess you know by now where this is going.
Yep, no LDT today. I was willing to do it in the internet cafe where I'm typing out this post, but I figured postponing one more day wouldn't hurt. It would be better sitting face to face with Cohost, and we know how loud and crazy we get on this show. The last thing I need to do is feed into the stereotype of the ugly American as a bunch of Turkish guys watch me spaz out on a microphone.
Cohost and I plan on recording a show as soon as I get back, which I hope to have posted on Saturday. You've already sent us plenty of videos and topics we can talk about. However, we'd still like to see what else you can find, so if you've got something funny or weird you'd like to hear us discuss send it our way.
See you all when I get back! I'll be bringing back a big bag of Turkish delight for you!
