Why Hide it
We are all film geeks,nerds, and buffs of some kind and proud of it so why then is it when it comes to some films we like and others dont we dont say we like them? Or call them guilty pleasures? if its a film we enjoy watching why do we give them such labels? Tell me what you think what are your 'Guilty Pleasures' of films what films do you enjoy that others dont why do you enjoy them? and what films do you not enjoy but a lot of other people do? and what is it about these films that you do not like please post in the comment section below Thanks.

I did enjoy Knocked up and laughed a lot watching it but never seen jesus christ superstar but to say the dark knight rises Is a guilty pleasure? i strongly dissagree i thought it was a great film and its impossible to defend without sounding like a douchebag? please explain

I don't have any.. any movie I watch I can defend.. as long as I can defend it there's no shame.. Like Jesus Christ Superstar. I hate Christianity, but that movie owns because of the acting and songs. I like Knocked up with Seth Rogen and that Heigle chick.. cause I like stoner jokes and she's ridiculously hot...
I followed the link to this blog from a comment you left on a Riddick post. Where a guy actually had the balls to be negative about the Riddick movies while wearing a 'Bane' mask from Rises on his avatar... Anyone who likes Rises.. that's a guilty pleasure.. that movie is impossible to defend without sounding like a douchebag.

The one that comes to mind is Sucker Punch it is SO bad but its like Zack Snyder's attempt at Fantasia of some kind. It is unintentionally funny and I love the CGI and the use of his orcs because it looks like he picked them straight from Lord of the Rings, it is stupid fun for me, except the ending which was the only thing I was legitimately offended by the rest was a hoot.

Easy ... The Fast and The Furious serie is pretty much my Transformers.
Wayne's World but only the first one.
The Step up serie of course. No story but who cares? That's not the point, right? If the dancing is good it's good for me.
And I can't believe what I'm gonna say but I like Resident Evil. It makes absolutly no sense, you never know what happens but on your tv screen, as a beautiful moving background, it's just perfect to self hypnotizing yourself.
Street Kings because Keanu Reeves motherfuckerz I mean the guy's trying to act tough: Priceless!
Hustle and Flow funny but for the wroooong reasons and also Team America stupidity kinda rules.
