Wanted Review
Theatrical Release: June 2008
The Low Down: Some Dude named James McAvoy (Atonement) plays a guy who pretty much hates his life. The beginning of the film reminds me of Office Space. Life sucks until super hot and abnormally skinny Angelina Jolie comes along and shows him the super cool world of killer assassins.
The movie has a couple really goofy looking CG moments but generally is a very good looking film. The story also throws in some much unexpected twists that i was not expecting given the type of film i assumed it was. I was never bored and had fun watching it.
Plus as everyone knows from the trailer the assassins can "curve bullets." As lame as that might sound i liked that they did something a little different. It reminded me of when the Matrix movies did the bullet time thing for the first time. It was unique.
Overall rating: Matinee! It was fun to watch but nothing real special in the film as a whole.

Nice review, I pretty much agree with what you said. I know people who adore this movie-for me it's fun, but not mind blowing. Action scenes were fun but I thought the rest of it was pretty bland.
