I'm interested in the movie, but man does that trailer REALLY suck.

"Here's a bunch of mundane things set to music that religious extremist might think of as slightly unsettling. SPOOKY TITLE CARD!"

Cohost the format of movie you were  talking about on this podcast were called Video Disc. It was something that looked like a laser disk but it was in a plastic jacket that would insert into a player and deposit the disc into the machine and half way through the movie you had to turn it over to the other side. I had one when I was a kid.

Plus side: getting the lowdown on a movie that I have been hearing about and looking forward to for a couple of months now.

Minus side: who knows if/when this will make it to my neck of the woods anytime soon.

I disagree with Cyrus' theory about horror anthology films always being a mixed bag (one stand-out, some okay, and one really bad) because of one little movie called "Trick 'r Treat". Where's the bad part in that film?
