I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I'm baffled by movie marketing these days. Specifically, this new trend of releasing teasers for trailers perplexes me. You know, there was a time when you only saw trailers in the theaters. Now you get big flashy announcements letting you know when the teaser or the trailer for a film will land online. It's as if they want you to set your cyber DVRs to record them or something. But, not one to deprive our faithful Spillios, I humbly submit this teaser for the trailer for 'Total Recall.' Starring Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, and Bryan Cranston, this remake of Paul Verhoeven's classic sci-fi actioner...sure does feature a lot of flying cars. That's about all we can glean from this. Take a look at the teaser teaser below and let us know what you think. The full trailer will launch on April 1st.

'Total Recall' will find its way to theaters August 3rd

There are very few Arnold Swarzznegwer movies I can truly say I have enjoyed. Terminators 1 and 2, and even Commando. Included in the list is the movie “Total Recall” where Arnie bought a dream and then very quickly found himself in a world of high octane adventure. I really enjoyed it, it was well directed by Paul Verhoeven, and adequately acted by all around; it even gave us Sharon Stone for goodness sake.
Well, as imaginative as Hollywood are they have decided to do a remake. It stars Colin Farrell as Quaid but this time, if the trailer is anything to go by; he is more of a Jack Bauer kind of guy.
Why was this movie made? Is Hollywood so far gone now that it thinks there’s only remake and reboots the only way of guaranteeing success. Are they no longer going to take chances with filmmakers? I hope not.  Let’s be positive and hope that this remake puts a unique spin on the story.

I like it better when the future looks really 80's. Oh and if there isn't a chick with 3 tits, I'm out.

There's a special place in hell for the guy who made the first trailer trailer.

The machine looks almost exactly the same, WTF?   It looks badass and I'll watch any action movie with Kate in it.

I'm just sad that Richard Dawson likely won't be in this one.
