TOP 20 MOST BAD A55 ACTION HEROES OF ALL TIME
This is a list of heroes that have a take no shit style about them, rather then the goody good style of such heroes like Superman / Spider-Man / Mr Miyagi / Yoda / Luke Skywalker / Gandalf ect. As great as these Heroes are this is more of a list of people you DO NOT want to piss off.
KEEPING IN MIND i try and keep it one style of film for each person to make it otherwise they would all be Cop film heroes
JUST MISSING OUT:
Ok Don't get me wrong WHY ROCKY misses the list. He is more of a kind heart good guy who can unless hell upon a man but overall he is a fighter and a more grounded down to earth Hero, He is not a smash them all and kill style but I knew people would say, "Where the Hell was Rocky"
I am a HUGE fan so making him miss the list is hard but truly he is not a bad ass hero, He is just a true Hero.

WOooooow It's like Neo the man who will bring down the Machines, Bullshit! Well it may not have worked out as everyone planned but this is one guy you don't want to mess with and don't think because he looks kind of like a gay businessman he still can whop your ass in seconds.
Why he is no higher is much the same as Rocky, He is more of a hero that would rather step aside then smash your head in but with that said Neo when pissed off is one bad ass dude. EXCELLENT DUDE!

HE HAS THE TOUCH HE HAS THE POWWERRrrr!!!!! Optimus prime what has not been said about how cool this guy is (well machine is) Cartoon or Live action this is one bad ass Machine who is more based around the goodness level but you dare cross him and he will F**K YOU UP!
Maybe its the amazing voice talent of Peter Cullen who makes this guy such a cool hero and taking away the vocie may chance my thoughts on him but come on who would dare mess with a machine that big, powerful and just so damn cool.
Now lets see if Michael Bay can pull off a better sequel then the first film, lets hope

For the Women or I guess more for the Men it has to be the sexy hot body tomb raider herself who became a young boys wet dream while playing Playstation back in the day and even to this very day she is still considered the top computer babe of all time.
Lara Croft has appeared in many games and 2 live action films starring Angelia Jolie (yes that's Brad Pitts wife if you have been living under a rock for the last few years) She may look sexy and hot but this is one babe you do not want to cross as many have discovered the the games and films, But we know she has just made the list because she is a hot babe, Oh well I still wouldn't mess with her.

Ok now this is a personally Fav of mine so he has to make the list and SO HE DAMN WELL SHOULD! ok maybe I am a little bias but come one this is one awesome hero.
The Crow was the late Brandon Lee's last film but rather then going down that path of death and sadness lets just focus on how cool this character was. Eric Dravin is The Crow i am focusing on (there has been many) Eric and his fiancée, Shelly, are assaulted by a gang of street thugs after their car breaks down (comic). Eric is shot in the head and is paralyzed, and can only watch as Shelly is savagely beaten and raped until she dies at the scene. Eric survives and is taken to a hospital, but while surgeons are trying to save him, he has a vision of a crow and is declared dead.
The film changes this and has him being thrown out of a window and fall to his death but besides this difference the comic and film are very much the same. Brandon lee brings to life Eric Draven so well it's hard to think of anyone else playing The Crow even though it's a different character all the time, No one has matched his Crow.
If you have not seen the film or had a chance to read the comic, Please do because you won't be let down. VICTIMS AREN'T WE ALL

Aragorn is a lord of the rings fanboy dream, he is tough, Rough and gets all the chicks. Face it running around a homosexula looking Elf and a Ugly as all hell red headed Dwarf it would not be hard to look attractive now would it? Sure chick dig Orlando Bloom but the guy could not act his way out of a paper bag.
Aragorn is the man who makes Lord of the Rings what it is and people can debate who is better and cooler and more of a hero but Aragorn could kick the shit out of all on them on a bad day.

It was a toss up between Predators Dutch and Commandos John Matrix but really when you think about it Dutch has a bad ass team of guys helping him out (Apollo Creed as well how cool is that) but John Matrix is a man alone hellbent on getting his daughter back and Killing anyone who gets in his path.
Yeah sure he has some cute black chick helping him out but really besides f**king up the rocket launcher she doesn't do much besides bitch and scream and fly's a plane......Wait fly's a plane damn maybe she should have made this list above Matrix.
Not much has to be said about this guy i mean It's Arnold what else do you need to know. One interesting fact i always found was he retired to make a simple life for him and his daughter away from it all and yet he has a shield full of weapons and has no trouble in shooting an unarmed man saying the classic line of "Wrong"

Anyone who can fight and kill a giant ass slug gangster while wearing that Bikini has got to be a bad ass in my books and Princess Leia is a must have on this list. I see no point in going into a lot of detail about any of the Star Wars people because what more can i tell you that you wouldn't already know.
She kisses her Brother, Gets her home world blown to the shitheap and then finds out her Father is the biggest prick in the Galaxy and yet still she can go around and whop some Stormtropper ass, Totally bad ass.

Alex J. Murphy is blown way in the most violent death scene in movie history (well close to it) But amazing enough he lives, Kinda. After being pronounced dead, Murphy's brain and face are subsequently rebuilt into a cyborg, and he is dubbed "RoboCop." RoboCop patrols the city and proves extremely effective at stopping violent crime.
Yet he maybe a cop he will shoot you in the balls before you know it and be a smart ass saying "Your move Creep) that has got to earn him a spot on the Bad ass hero list. Sadly after the first film it went all down hill very fast and my debate to those who claim Empire Strikes back was the best (it may well be) but the Director IS NOT. Irvin Kershner who went from Empire Strikes back to direct Robocop 2 and a James Bond film not even considered a James bond film in Never say Never again. Irvin Kershner You suck man

Riddick usually wears welding goggles during the day because of his augmented vision. His attire usually consists of a black shirt, dark-colored cargo pants, a utility belt, and combat boots. He usually keeps knives or improvised shivs on his person and has one cool ass voice.
He might not make everyone's list and thats cool but he without a doubt makes my bad ass hero list

If you don't think she is tough then get off this blog right now ELLEN RIPLEY IS THE TOUGHEST WOMAN OF ALL TIME!!!!!! She whops Aliens, Dies comes back 200 years later as part alien and still whops their ass ( Alien 4 did suck ass i might add) BUT Ripley is still one tough chick.
Taking on the Alien Queen only proved this in the mid 80's when she uttered the line "Get away from her you Bitch" Which to this day is still used. I use it daily for no good reason.

Not just The Dark Knight but Batman in general is one of it not the most bad ass comic book hero to walk the earth, Simple as that. Going into detail about this will just bore the hell out of everyone because face it everyone is sick of the Dark Knight by now.....Well not really everyone.
So thats all i am saying about Batman but now the only other comic book bad ass that is above The Dark Knight and who could it be.....

Now I am a loyal Batman fan but If i was to come face to face with one of them I would rather face Batman then get my ass handed to be my Spawn. A CIA agent killed by his own boss for witnessing his corruption, Al Simmons was sent to hell. To see his wife one more time, he made a deal with the devil Malebolgia to become an undead "hellspawn". Spawn has tried to retain his own humanity while finding a way out of Malebolgia's control and battling a variety of enemies, both supernatural and criminal.
People say Blade is the most bad ass black hero well they have not heard of Spawn if they claim that. Sure the movie was lame but Spawn is still one bad ass dude.

First appearing in the film The Evil Dead, Ash has become very popular in modern cult horror and one of the few protagonists of said cult horror films to have such notoriety. He is most easily recognized and envisioned in later material based on his final appearance in the second film however, armed with a sawed-off shotgun and a chainsaw strapped to the stump on his right arm where his hand once was.
Now anyone who has a chainsaw starpped to the stump of his arm has to be one cool dude. Ash will he be back?

I had to pick either Conan or Terminator to make the list for Arnold one last time, face it Arnold could make the list 10 times already but i tried to limit him to just 2 films and when i think bad ass Arnold you must have Terminator on the list.
He may not be a hero to begin with but he must be the only bad guy turned hero on the list (maybe Spawn) But the Terminator could die come back and die again. 1000's of Arnold is just too good to resist and He'll be back!

A lot is not known about this guy so going into detail is hard but he is linked to the 3 films A fist full of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and many say it is not him but without a doubt its the same guy from The good the bad and the Ugly.

If you don't know anything about Rambo WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU! no really you need help go and watch First Blood (one of IF NOT the best action film in History) A man with classic line after classic line "Don't push it or i'll give you a war you won't believe" "WHO ARE YOU, YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE" just a hero of heroes.

BOND JAMES BOND!!! With Craig doing his stuff to make Bond a bad ass again how could i not add him. Through the years Bond has been the hero of heroes and has had many different looks and styles but overall Bond is truly the bad ass of bad ass heroes and 20+ films should back that up BUT

Keeping in mind before making it i had 68 names about half of them are cops such as from Lethal Weapon and Die hard. Here are some that missed the list.
Martin Riggs, Mad max, John Mclane, Dutch (Predator), Goku (anime not shitty live action) Blade, Jack Bauer, Paul Atreides (Dune), Connor Mcloud (Highlander), Snake Plisskin, Solid Snake, Ryu, Carrie (not really bad) HE ONE WHICH I DID FORGET and so sorry i did Lee from Enter the Dragon,

PEOPLE PLEASE John Mclane missed for the simple reason too many from the one style of Films otherwise mad max, Martin Riggs, and almost every other cop would make it but really we are talking tough cops, Dirty harry is king of kings. As for Boba how is he a hero?

Snake missed the list for a simple reason Escape from LA I think anyone could mess with him in that film and John Mclain missed because of the fact i was trying to keep it a wide list of different films, THE BIG one i left off was MAD MAX.
