All four of us are coming to Florida and I believe at least three of us will be on the same Wednesday afternoon flight.
Comment by Jax Lander Darnerailey on March 31, 2012 at 11:20pm The saying 'a stitch in time saves nine' is a sewing reference where you add a stitch every nine stitches to make it stronger. So the meaning is to do more work now so there are less problems later. The saying "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" is a hunting reference where people had to scare birds out of bushes in order to shoot them. Leon had it right. It means it is better to be certain of one then attempting to get double. :) Just trying to help illuminate the world. Love the LEOG!

Comment by Scaredycrow on March 31, 2012 at 4:00pm One young adult book that could totally lend itself to celluloid is 'Mortal Engines' by Philip Reeve (the first book of the Hungry City chronicles). Back in 2009, before he announced he'd be adapting the hobbit, Peter Jackson said he'd like to direct the film. Anybody else read the book? It's easily my number #1 pick for a book-movie adaptation.
Comment by Joe on March 31, 2012 at 2:31pm That was a little disappointing conversation about The Avengers. I've been waiing for you guys to talk about it for a while and all we get is Hulk dick. I still love you guys though.
