The mission impossible movie was the first major adaptation of the tv series. X-Men First Class was, like, the billionth reinterpretation of the X-Men story, so yeah, it was kind of a different thing. Context is everything.

What I think is weird is that Cat was so pissed off about the original M:I movie being nothing like the show when X-Men First Class was nothing like the comics as far as the relationships between some of the characters and destroyed what little continuity that was left between the X-Men films and nobody touched on that. If your going to be pissed about one inaccurate adaptation, you should be pissed at them all.

If that was true, Brasiliansoxfan, it might be something, but it's not. Pretty much everything since "Match Point" in 2005 has been pretty good.

Liked Midnight In Paris but not quite an extraordinary film to me. I felt like it was adored by many because it was the first Allen film in a long time that didn't suck. Drive is still #1 for me by far

alright, after watching it again, i really do think that Midnight in Paris is best comedy. Although, i just think Warrior is better by just a bit. Both incredible films that came out this year. My top 2 films
