THE LEAGUE OF EXTREMELY ORDINARY GENTLEMEN: Volume 7, Issue 13: Name Dropping

THE LEAGUE OF EXTREMELY ORDINARY GENTLEMEN: Volume 7, Issue 13: Name Dropping

Oh hell, why not? After Austin Comic Con, which our own Cat ACTUALLY EXCHANGED WORDS WITH CELEBRITIES (I know, right?) it only seemed appropriate to devote an episode to celebrity close encounters. Even Kayla and Co-Host show up to pitch in. Check it...

although ilove30 Rock i gotta completely agree w/Cyrus. Season 4 was decent with several awesome episodes. And season 5 was very disappointing.

@Grant and ChristianDB - Since Grant will be trying to interrupt less, I will balance out the scales and try to interrupt stories twice as much.

@The Interloper - That would indeed be the way to go, but unfortunately we don't have control over that (stupid effing Ning platform). Thankfully, we're hard at work on eventually moving the site to it's own platform where we won't have 90% of these issues. In the meantime, we have a revised version of the audio player on the way that includes a download button (so that people can listen to it on whatever player they want and still browse the site) so be on the lookout for that sometime in the coming month.

I had an artist at Super Mega Fest in Framingham MA asking me to buy his book for 10.00....I said no, he asked me what I read, I said whatever I can afford and I can't afford ten dollars for someone I've never heard of.  This was last Saturday and I was down there just to see Peter Tork.

Wait, Jake Lloyd is from Indiana? No wonder he sounds so miserable.

I keep forgetting that the page reloads when you go to the next page in the comments, so I lose where I'm at in the podcast. When you get some time, you should get someone to implement comment pagination with an AJAX call or something. I know you probably get people like this commenting a lot, but it's just meant as constructive criticism of the site itself.

Thanks for the show, guys! Long live the league.

Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk. That will teach you to keep your mouth shut.

It's not acceptable, ChristianDB! We are all just a bunch of competitive little mic-hogs and think our interruptions are funny, even when they aren't. We attempt to cure this with copious amounts of alcohol but to no avail!

Seriously though, I will try to do better not to interrupt others while they are telling a story.

Now shut your face and go back to listening to our podcast!
