@Harris I know this is very old but Madoka Magicka is more of a tragedy not a horror. It's tragic that these little girls go through these things. I don't really see the problem with this fantasy mixed with tragedy. Also you shouldn't explain shows with its like this show mixed with another show. That's a horrible way to have people get the show. Also just because its fucked up doesn't mean bad show or in any way typical Japanese anime. This show was a tragedy and meant to make you go through the downward spiral these characters go through. Just wanted to put my two cents.

I don't know why, but I really enjoy Space Mutiny starring Big McLargehuge, I mean Bob Johnson, I mean Reb Brown. BTW... also really love Yor Hunter from the Future.

Finally almost completely caught up on the podcasts. Just got a ton of awkward looks at work as a lughed out loud when Grant told Leon that he "comes across as someone who doesn't like cops very much." Well played.
Dance battle at Spill? Sounds fantastic, but watch out Brennen, I've seen pictures of Grants epic dance moves at last years Spill dot Con. You got your work cut out for you.
