I know this site is for mostly movies, but I'm sure there must be a group of people here who share the same interest in this quirky and odd television show as I do.

Now, the reason I post this is because I honestly never watch TV. This is the only show in my life that I've ever followed, and because of this I don't know anything about how prgrams work.

Pushing Daisies was a hit when it first came out. But then the writers strike happened, and it disappeared for a whole year. And now supposedly the shows numbers have dropped dramatically (which, call me hostile, but I think is very much the responsibility of ABC not promoting the show at all. How many ads do you see for Scrubs on a daily basis but you never see one ad mentioning that P.D. ever even came back on the air?)

I've heard that because of it's numbers, the show has been cancelled. But their right in the middle of Season 2. How does this work? Would the show just get pulled from the air and not even finish the story/season?

So I guess my real question(s) is 1: Does anyone know for sure whether or not the show has been cancelled? 2: Would they at least finish off the season? 3: Do shows that are cancelled in the middle of a season at least come out on DVD? and 4: Would there be any chance of it being moved to a different network? I think P.D. would do great on a much more artistic network (idk...bravo perhaps?) Something besides big prime time ABC.

Thanks everyone! Take care and Happy Holidays!

And don't be afraid of my default pic, it's just a pic from me working at a Haunted House lol.

There is a group who are Pushing Daisies fan, unfortunately no Bryan Fuller no Pushing Daisies, it may have its own movie like another Fuller's premature series such as Dead Like Me.

Word on Pushing Daisies last I checked was that it is canceled and the creator, Bryan Fuller, is going back to work on Heroes. While there are hopes it may move to another station this is very unlikely but movie rumors are also out there. The story lines may also be wrapped up in a comic series. It will probably be out on DVD too since they were able to finish most of season 2. We discussed this a bit more on the last LEOG here. Give it a listen.
