TED Talk Viral Marketing For 'Prometheus'

The TED Conferences (Technology, Entertainment, and Design) bring together the finest minds, and most influential innovators, of our age to discuss various topics within their fields of expertise. These conferences have been occurring since 1984 and have been live-streamed online since 2006. Why are we talking about this? Because a fake TED Talk broadcast was just put together as a piece of viral marketing for Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus.' In the fictional TED Talk, Guy Pearce, as Peter Weyland, talks about his company's plan to "change the world." Knowing that the sinister Weyland-Yutani eventually sends out the ship  Nostromo, and the terror that ensues, there is a dark foreboding in his passionate words. This is a really smart piece of viral marketing and I absolutely love it. But who cares what I think. Take a look at the clip below and let us know what you think.

Damn...this just got me even more excited for this movie. There's definitely a lot of good movies coming out this year, this being one of my most anticipated (almost as much as TDKR). Oh yea...and also a lot of bullshit in between.

Yeah, I'm psyched to see this, and also the Luc Besson movie with Pearce saving the President's daughter in the space prison (forgot the name of it... "Lockout" or something like it).
