It is same as the first one,but a little different. Also, his family and him need stay there ass in america, so they don't get kidnapped again. The part when the father of kidnapper said it his fault his son died; If I was in that position would say,"If you  raised your son better, he wouldn't be died ". There nothing wrong with fight scenes in the movie. I would give it a matinee.

Nobody mentioned the fact that one of the albanians shot and killed a friend to get to Liam Neeson, so they can capture him and have their revenge, because Liam Neeson killed many of their friends. Am I the only one who thinks this makes no sense?

I really didn`t think this film was going to out do the original. That said I still hoped that Hollywood had a kickass Idea to justify a sequel. Revenge from a family memeber? seriously that`s the best they could do. This is the same excuse use in Die Hard with a Vengence or Firight Night 2. I agree that the mother was a bitch in the first film and their attempt to make us like her by making her a victim of a failed marriage didn`t work on me. I still hated her. I didn`t care for Kim (the daughter) blowwing off her father visit as ungrateful. Its only been a year since he rip Europe a new one saving her ass. Back to the Mom, I couldn`t help but believe she was milking the sympathy cow. She knew her Ex arrives at 2:00 on Wednesdays for Kim and answers the door in tears. She knows he`s going to inquiry and she is more than willing to to confide her problem to him. I could only think that she was only a little over a year ago laughing with rich hubby about how pathetic Ex`s gift was compared to the horse he bought her. Now the rich bastard won`t spend money on another vacation. Another thing that bugged me was how Kim was so outgoing after her ordeal in the first film. Loss of a best friend to rape and murder, near sold into sexual slavery but she can hop on a plane to Istanbul at a moments notice. You would think that it might give her trust issues with boys after the betrayal of cab fare guy last movie. That she might develop a phobia with foreign countries. and visiting them. Yeah this film had a lot of flaws however I still enjoed this fillm enough to give it a low matinee

I got dragged off to this movie by my family.  The intro alone was so strobe light flashy and a.d.d that I looked up dubstep music and listen to it while it played just to see how well it fit.  It was nauseatingly perfect.

for some reason, somebody in hollywood thought it would be a good idea to give this film a certificate 12 rating. and that is why this movie was terrible. why do 12 yr olds need to see the sequel? they weren't old enough to watch the original, so why make a movie for them? the end result was a watered down version of taken. what a crime.

Btw, can someone get Co-Host a tall glass of water? Cause he seriously needs it.

Comment by Maverick on October 9, 2012 at 10:21pm

This should have been called 'Taken 2 - Co-Host Review' since he keeps fucking talking above Leon & Grant most of the time.

Hey Grant did you add Constantine to your friends list? :P

I like that

Folks... I can only say that if anyone is looking for a rating other than "Rental" and "Some Old B.S.", try "In-Flight Feature"... the type of movies that are released by Hollyhood, but are only going to be seen by "Captive Audiences"
