IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But seriously, I am excited. I mean I have watched the original Star Wars all my life (all versions), and yet I had never seen them in theaters. I had seen the prequels in theaters, but it would be nice if I could see 4, 5, and 6 in the ol' silver screen. Luckily, thanks to James Cameron's Avatar, George Lucas has decided to re-release them all in 3D. Now I know what you're going to say, "But if a film isn't shot for 3D, then it's shit!" Well, put your fears to rest because those brilliant people over at ILM are making sure to really make it look like it has been made for 3D (so we wouldn't have another Last Airbender).
I know what those purists will say when they hear this and they will be ready to have their guillotines for Lucas, but come on! Stop complaining! The man has obviously good intentions. He's just thinking about the kids
and their generation so that they can enjoy Star Wars for anyone who hasn't seen them yet in the big screen. I'm not too happy with Greedo shooting first, but maybe he could alter that scene so that it could be back to it's original scene (besides, there isn't any reason to just change it again, am I right?). Besides, even if the prequels aren't as good as the originals, you gotta admit, visually, they were meant for 3D.
I just want to say that this is not a sarcasm blog or a blog made to lash out at the purists, it's just a blog about what my thoughts are about this. If you want to comment, please be nice because this is my first blog.
P.S. I'm not a fan of Jar Jar either.
