Splinter47's Top 5 Video Games of 2010... So Far

Number 5: Deadly Premonition

Synopsis:

Splinter47 says: Despite Deadly Premonition's
not-so-great graphics and gameplay, it's a fun horror/survivor game to
play from the beginning to end. Plus its only $20!! What more can you
ask for? Kids these days, all they care about is Graphics!!!!

Number 4: Mafia 2

Synopsis:

Number 3: Red Dead Redemption

Synopsis:

Synopsis: Sam Fisher has left Third Echelon since the events of Double Agent and begins the story working by himself on his personal mission. In a
drastic change from the previous games, Sam is perceived to be much
quicker, stronger and far more brutal in his quest for truth. The game
features several new gameplay elements and mechanics including Mark and Execute, which allows the the player to target multiple enemies and instantly kill them when the player has a clear shot.

Splinter47 says: Finally after 4 years Sam Fisher returns in Splinter Cell Conviction along with newer and deadlier moves. Conviction takes place 3 years
after the events of Double Agent and now Sam is on a personal mission to
find out the truth about his daughters death. Splinter Cell Conviction throws away the gameplay mechanics that made the Splinter Cell
series popular with a slick cover system, great gameplay and melee
attacks along with a new feature called "mark and execute" which gives
the player the ability to mark enemies and when the moment is right they
can take out multiple enemies but you have to earn it with a melee
attack. Splinter Cell Conviction
delivers in every way with great voice acting from the great Michael
Ironside and reminding us how great a video game character Sam Fisher
truely is.

Number 1: Mass Effect 2

For me?

1. Super Mario Galaxy 2
2. Red Dead Redemption
3. Metroid Other M
4. God Of War 3
5. Final Fantasy 13

Honorable mention: Red Steel 2 for the best use of the WiiM+ yet.

@mark Hazleton Jr. Thanks the kind words on my Marlboro ad. When you get the chance to play those games let me know what you thought of them.

I love the Marlboro "ad" at the end lol.
I havent even gotten to try any of these games since i havent had much time to even play the clusterf*ck of games i already got. Once Red Dead Redemption goes on a big sale or the price just gets dropped, im DEF picking that up.
Same with Mass Effect.
Deadly Premonition always looked very cool because i love SCARY Horror games, and the cheap graphics almost make it look more authentic. I sort of forget what system its for though lol...plus, I have never even seen it in ANY stores i go to.

@Chris Bartel It does suck that PS3 owners wont be getting Mass Effect 1 but Bioware will give you choices in the beginning of the game from Mass Effect 2 but that doesn't change the fact that you wont get the context of those decisions.

Thanks everyone for responding to my thread and giving your top 5 list.

@joshua I'm all for multiple platform released games, but the fact that bioware is only releasing mass effect 2 on PS3 means anyone who hasn't played the first one might have issues trying to understand the story, cause there is a lot of stuff in mass effect 2 that is linked with 1, so it will be interesting to see what bioware does for the PS3 version that would make it so they don't have to release the first one.

I love Bioware's Dragon Age Origins, so I'm really looking forward to playing Mass Effect 2 when its released for PS3
