Short Blog: My True Feeling Of The N Word

Right o the point I hate---hate---hate the N word-more so as to how Black People use it for what some call it-the term for endearment. really!  So, let me get this straight. When Blacks use the N word it is term of endearment, that when said to one another, does not have a deep impact.   However, when a white person says it, we want to kill him?

I don't get it; more so considering where that word had orginated from.  I would think People young and old would have a better understanding of it, and what it actually means when describing us.

I had talked about this with my uncle, and he had told me that it all depended on how the word is being used and the tone of voice of the person using it.  he also stated, and I agee, that the Entertainment business share much of the blame for the N word being accepted amongst blacks. some even try telling me the letters had changed in the lettering of the word in order to lessen the impact of its meaning. Yet, Like Bill Cosby said in his book,  Come on, People,  no matter how you try to suger coat or change the lettering, or how it is said amongst ourselves, the N word still a word used to degrade, put down, disrespect and make the person feel lower the you are. no more, no less.

That's my feeling on the matter but what's yours? Express Yourself.

 @ The Fapper

let me start off buy saying thank you for your input on this matter.  the reason i am bring this up is because  there is a lot pf bias when it come to the N word   we had taken lam to it and yet god for did if someone  white person said it even if it toward a friend who knew he mine nothing by it people want to hurt him.  I understand that is how the N world is being use.  it still dose it make it any better.  but any i respect you opinion and than you agsin for your freedback

I totally agree with The Fapper here.

And I for one am NOT one of those black folks that get made if white people use the word Nigga. I mean, maybe some people could make less of a Broadway showcase about it like it's the greatest fucking moment of their lives everytime they say it...BUT if I know what context you're using it in, I don't even sweat it.

I think that's just the way we as a society have progressed when it comes to stuff like this; there IS a clearer/more distinct difference between using the word Nigga and Nigger that most of us have decided on these days. Nigga's almost just another simple curse word to me; you KNOW exactly what context you're using when you add the -ER at the end.
