We just had a Dredd movie so this might be too similar aesthetically (the first Robocop was originally a Dredd adaptation from what I've heard) for my comfort.

The first couple of shots I thought looked like crap. These, not so bad. But it just does not scream Cyborg to me. It looks futuristic and super mobile which is something I wanted for the new Robocop. But this just looks like a guy in a shiny rubber suit on a kick ass bike. I don't know maybe if they had gone the other way it would have looked too much like the original or too much like Iron Man instead of how other have said. Batman. And yeah having his hand exposed kind of creeps me out a bit. This is the second suit I have a problem with this year. First one is actually all the new costumes in The Man of Steele. had they just added more red to break up the blue it would have looked a millions times better.

Looks Like N7 armor from the mass effect games... I dunno if I like that style of armor on Robocop, it should be bulkier and metallic in appearance.

I don't give a fuck what the guy looks like. Paint him pink and strap a dildo to his helmet. Remember Robocop 2? Was a turd. Remember Robocop 3? Yeah, me neither. Fuck that movie. I love the original but I don't find this series sacred or anything. The suit looks a bit mundane, but this is a series that could use another crack at the spotlight. Jose Padhilla can make a good cop movies, whether it's straight up action like the original tropa de elite, or the more political take of it's sequel. I say full speed fuckin ahead.

Its just been announced Robocop has been pushed back to Feb 2014 for its release. So we have a while to wait for it anyhow.
