If it's crap ... We'll tell you
I was aware of Brian Helgeland's Jackie Robinson biopic '42,' due to be released this year, but it was seeing the trailer before another movie in theaters this week that really got me excited for it. Chadwick Boseman steps into the role of the pioneering athlete who broke the professional baseball color barrier and became the first African-American to play the game. Harrison Ford costars as Branch Rickey, the president and GM of the Brooklyn Dodgers who signed Robinson. Now, we have a new poster for Helgeland's film. I like the inverted image of Robinson sliding into home plate, because it works as a metaphor for his continuous uphill struggle. Take a look at the poster below and let us know what you think.
