We have the first poster and US trailer for Jackie Chan's "100th movie" (if you apply a bit of dodgy marketing math) about one man standing against a 100 year old dynasty in '1911'. Chan plays Huang Xing who recently returns to China after studying modern warfare in Japan to a land where it's citizens are starving. He is forced to lead several violent revolts against the seven-year-old emperor and his ruthless mother, Empress Dowager Longyu. The historic epic will be in theaters October 12th.

Jackie Chan and the word "Revolution" don't go together.

Jackie Chan is an unstoppable force in cinema. Very glad that it looks like for his 100th film he's doing a piece with lots of depth into the story and not just a martial arts flick. He deserved this

@mst3k4evur
I have never seen a patriotic or wuxia chinese film be historically accurate

As a bit of a history buff, I always like seeing historically acurate movies about obscure subjects. What I know about the Chinese revolution could fit on the head of a pin, so this fits. That and it's good to see Jackie Chan in what has all indications of being a good movie again.

This has probably already been mentioned but it kinda reminds me of the "flags of our fathers" poster. Not that thats a bad thing. Just saying.

But i am really excited for this. Jackie Chan is 58 and still kicking ass.

Looking forward to this new film.  While Shinjuku Incident isn’t a great film it at least takes Jackie Chan away from his last American pictures (except Karate Kid which is okay) that were just terrible.  Same with John Woo with Red Cliff.

Hey China,

But seriously, I hope to see Jackie Chan do more movies like this and less like The Spy Next Door. God I hope this doesn't suck ass.
