That Guy Jv posted a statusA new international trailer for 'Journey 2: The Mysterious Island' has just hit the web. The film, a sequel to 2008's 'Journey to the Center of the Earth,' stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, replacing Brendan Fraser, who is led on an adventure to, you guessed it, a mysterious island by his stepson Sean, played by the returning Josh Hutcherson. The film may look silly, but it does feature a very impressive element that allows me to at least temporarily assuage my pessimism. Two words: Michael Caine. Take a gander at the trailer below. Is anyone else willing to entertain the idea that this may not suck?

Comment by condemned6436 on November 29, 2011 at 1:30pm This seems to basically be the beginning to the plot in King Kong and some scenes from Jurassic Park... at least some what similar. The only major difference apparently is that it's more prettier and doesn't seem to have the hardships as skull island then skull island.

Comment by Poyo on November 28, 2011 at 9:13pm This movie is just bridging the gap until mushrooms are cheaper than a cinema ticket
Looks too much like a video game.
Comment by Alec Nicholson on November 28, 2011 at 7:35pm Oh great...another excuse for a 3D movie tie in to classic literature and throw it into the modern setting....
What's next? Journey 3: The Lost World? Journey 4: Solomon's Mines? Journey 5: The Odyssey? And the ground-breaking Oscar contender; Journey 6: The Search for White Castle.
