If it's crap ... We'll tell you
One of the problems I tend to have with posters for contemporary films is that they look like lazy Photoshop jobs. Long gone appears to be the artistry displayed in classic film posters and VHS cover art. Seriously, look at the cover of even the cheesiest, epically bad 80s fantasy movie on VHS. Those hand-painted images are incredible! That's why I really like this latest poster for Francis Lawrence's 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire.' True, it was probably still produced via Photoshop, but it has the appearance of a gorgeous, aged oil painting. Take a look at the poster below and let us know what you think.
