New 'Avengers' Images
The marketing blitzkrieg leading up to May's release of Marvel's 'The Avengers' continues, but I'll be damned if every new set pic or behind-the-scenes video doesn't get me excited for the film. To wit, we offer these recently released images from the movie. The first shows Captain America (Chris Evans), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) doing their 'The Right Stuff' walk. If nothing else, this image gives us a hi-res, static look at Cap's suit. The second depicts some sort of powwow between Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth). Thor, as one would expect of a hero from another realm, seems utterly confused as to where he is supposed to be looking at the computer. Take a gander at the pics below and let us know what you think.

great changes fungusmonkey one thing about caps belt in your change is that the brown color stands out a little too much. a good deep burgundy would keep the whole red white and blue seem in tact and still break up the blue. otherwise great stuff.

Holy cow fungus, how were you not on the design stages of the costumes, because you subtle changes are amazing. I really dig the "scales" on Cap, bravo sir, bravo.

If I may - a few subtle design changes I would have made (real quick photoshop edit, apologies). Basically, break up Cap's costume a bit more with the belt and lower it. Add in a subtle "scale armor" texture, break up the blue a bit more, fix the mask and add wings (they can be communication relays or whatever). Lengthen Hawkeye's top so that it's more like a vest, remove the high waist on Black Widow (since she's already wearing a belt across her hips). Click for large scale:
It's really the little details and touches that make the difference.
