My Personal Top 5 Villains Film Villains!!

With so much buzz about how great Heath Ledger was as the Joker I’ve been thinking about who I think the best movie villains of all time actually are. I picked the villains that are not for everyone opinion but mine ..what i look for briefly that makes a good villain to me is him as a tragic character having an overwhelming arc and having just alittle good in there soul but overcome with evil deeds. 5.Decon Frost- Even though there are so many other villains in cinema that are more evil. When I first say the film Blade, not only did I think the movie had a unique visual style and great performance from Wesley Snipes. Stephen Doff as Decon Frost character had a lasting impact almost to a point where I knew when Blade II would eventually be released I would be wanting to see that chracter on screen again. He was charming, Hip, and played a screen villain without trying to hard, almost reminiscent of Paul Sorvino in Goodfellas.

4. Alanzo Harris- Dezel Washington had since prooved to be a respectable actor during the 1990's to the new 2000's. Especially his famous scene in Glory. When 2001's Training Day hit screen knowone was expecting to see such a charming yet evil character. Especially after Mr. Washington's stunning image as a Good Old fashion boy scout who everyone's mother loved. By the end of the film you are willing to say goodbye to the character without any remorese after learning all his true intentions.

3. Kaizer Soze- Starting off after seeing him you immediatly conncect and believe the character Verbal Kent has been through much problems and is a survivor of horrific events. Spacey over the years has to me lost his ability to pull me in as an actor his last good performance where I forgot he was spacey was in A Time To Kill. Though Usual Suspects is a well executed film, Kaizer Soze is a well written character even after the twist. I will keep this spoiler free, but all i will say is even after repeated viewing knowing the twist the film still holds up as well as Spacey's performance which is decietful and impecable.

2. Khan Noonien Singh- Growing up watching Star Trek my first viewing of Star Trek II was a memorable one. I thought every aspect of the film was great, (almost the first Dark Knight of its time). Though as I got older I began to watch the Star Trek 0riginal Series. I saw the epsidoe space seed, and said "wow this guy is both charming and tragic and believable but is very mysterious on intentions" when i realized his motivations behind Wrath of Khan it made him seem much more formadable for Kirk and Spock to defeat. It is the one time where the battle for good and evil was so violent and tragic without niether two characters kirk and Khan never meeting face to face.

1. The Joker - What can I say that hasnt been said Before? Heath Ledger left us such a haunting and menacing peforrmance you cant help but get aggrivated knowing he will not be returning. His performance is once a lifttime and mezmorizing and will never be another Joker performance like his again. From him doing the infamous pencil trick to blowing up a Hosptial and facing death at every turn....he still managed to keep his sense of humor by showing us "A world Without Rules" or asking ourselves and friends after midnight "Why so Serious" ..there is not more I can say Joker is classic and those stories of scares and chaos will reign forever in any movie fans heart.

Hounorable Mention....Darth Vader - I know most of you would put him above most of the villains I may have named but i felt due to the god awful prequels its hard to view Vader as the same baddie we met in the 80's. My last thoughts for Vader are that he still in very effective especially the great scene from Empire. Mr. Lucas come on ...you had one of the greatest baddie and turned him to a bitch...you had the potential to make a totally dark trilogy and top the original but you let the kids get in the way. but anyway long live Vader...who didnt take any shit.......

Please feel free to leave your favorite bad asses on the comments....
