Liam Neeson has packed his bags and signed on to board high-flying, claustrophobic thriller 'Non-Stop.' The film, which will be a joint venture between Warner Brothers and Joel Silver's Dark Castle Entertainment, centers on a grizzled air marshal who must contend with a threat while aboard an international flight. According to sources, Jeff Wadlow ('Cry_Wolf') will be directing from a spec script written by John Richardson and Chris Roach, which Warner Brothers purchased last August. 'Non-Stop' seems an appropriate, or at least appropriately titled, project for Neeson to take on considering he's already had two movies released this year ('The Grey,' 'Wrath of the Titans') with three more still set to be released: 'Battleship,' 'The Dark Knight Rises,' and 'Taken 2.'
I'll go ahead and say it, I cannot get enough Liam Neeson. I'm not saying I've liked all his movies in the post 'Taken' resurgence, but you will never hear me complaining about getting another Neeson vehicle. What I like about the concept of 'Non-Stop,' is that it requires such a contained setting. Pretty much all of his movies since 'Taken' have been so large in scale and setting, though granted I haven't seen 'Battleship' yet, that it would be interesting to watch him apply his signature kick-assery in a more confined location. I'm imagining something like 'Air Force One,' but utilizing Liam's very particular set of skills. I am a little concerned that Jeff Wadlow is directing, if he still is, but I can set aside my distaste for 'Cry_Wolf' if it means watching Neeson take hijackers apart piece by piece.
What do you guys think? Are you interested in 'Non-Stop' or are you Liam'ed out?

Comment by PoopaPapaPalpatine on April 4, 2012 at 12:01pm Spill also cannot get enough Neeson and I suggest we all hop aboard the Groat-Boat and show our appreciation for Qui-Gon Ghul by dedicating, at least, 17 more pages of the Photo Section to the LN.
