Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is an upstanding family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during a home invasion. When the killers are caught, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a hotshot young Philadelphia prosecutor, is assigned to the case. Over his objections, Nick is forced by his boss to offer one of the suspects a light sentence in exchange for testifying against his accomplice. Fast forward ten years. The man who got away with murder is found dead and Clyde Shelton coolly admits his guilt. Then he issues a warning to Nick: Either fix the flawed justice system that failed his family, or key players in the trial will die.

I thought Law Abiding Citizen was an average film. I wasn’t really expecting much, but I did not think it was going to be this stupid. I liked Butler, and Foxx, They were pretty good together. Foxx was good in the movie, but honestly I thought Butler stole the show. he had some really good lines in the movie, but what makes the lines better is how he says them. For example in one scene he says (I will kill everybody). Now if you hear that from anybody else your thinking okay I don’t buy that. But when you hear Butler say that, you actually buy it from him because of how he says it. Really good acting from Butler. The first act was good, second was a let down, and the 3rd act was okay. What I liked from the 3rd act was the ending. I thought the ending was perfect. And I wasn’t expecting it either. Am actually glad it ended like that.

Law abiding citizen is probably one of the stupidest movies I seen all year. it gets so crazy towards the end that your thinking that’s literally imposable to do, Which it is imposable to do. The second act of the movie was boring. I started to daze off when watching the second act. There actually wasn’t a lot of bad things about the movie. the only reason why I didn’t like it so much was how stupid it got. And it’s the biggest reason why I didn’t like it so much.

Overall the only real big flaw to law abiding citizen was how stupid it got. But other then that I enjoyed the acting a lot. I thought Foxx, and Butler were really good together. I hope they will work together again.
