I would paly it , but the 3ds Hurts my eyes

Comment by Kevin J Baird on April 20, 2012 at 4:06pm

This was the first time I had to be the one that had all the information for the game, and I apologize for not covering it in further detail.  I have been playing it a lot and really enjoyed it, but often had to question myself if it was as much fun as I was thinking I was having because I was just basically moving in circles and holding the fire button down most of the time.

But I did realize after doing the review that I need to bring more information in these one-on-one reviews, and so I'll do that next time.  I've been on some pain killers as well which has made me a little sketchy mentally.  Hopefully that ends soon (Back problem) and the next reviews are more detailed.

Personally, I really enjoy games that rework old gaming concepts like on-rail shooters and breath new life into them.  It seems like we get so many games that are of the same genre, and there were some good ones from back in the day that Nintendo proves time and again still have life in them (2D platformers anyone?)  The variety is always nice.  Hopefully this title does well for Nintendo and they follow-up with some sequels.  There seems to be enough complexity here, they just need to rework the ground action.

Thanks for listening!

Can I just say that the controls are a bitch if you're left handed

I feel like I just listened to a review based on people only having watched trailers. You all left out a ton of details for this game. Though it is true- the controls are a struggle.

This game for me was a breath a fresh are compared to the Super Mario Land 3D that Nintendo put out. the control scheme can be changed so if you hate the stylus like i do it can be just buttons to. Overall this is my favorite games on the 3DS next to RE revaltions Go and pick it up NOW!

Actually Jeff and Kevin, I read an article where Iwata and Masahiro Sakurai said that the game was initially being tested on the Wii.  That's probably why nobody knew that it would hurt peoples hands.  Personally, I love the game especially the multiplayer and the stand does help alot.  As a matter fact I don't play it without it.
