Now I know, it's not even October yet, but now is the time to start thinking about what you want to be for Halloween.

I use to make my nieces and nephews start choosing at this time to get them all made in time but since they're all grown I'm turning my attention to all my Spill Kids, not that I'm going to make costumes for all of you, though I wish I could but I thought you like to take a look at what's new and hot this year:

Michael Jackson...no big surprise here. These run from $99.00-$150.00 not including shoes, wigs and other accessories....I still would love to see Leon's version!

Movies characters are always big! Watchmen...I don't know how popular these will be, but the Silk Specters should get the heart racing of even the coldest Rocharch:

Even us plus size folk can join in with the full figured Night Owl Costume:

Sci Fi movies are always popular, but this Jabba The Hutt is.....you fill in the blank:

Jedi and Spacemen always in vogue, but with the new Star Trek movie, Captain Kirk is back with a vengence:

Of all the Kirks I saw when researching for this blog, our very own Beau was truly the fairest of them all!

Superheros always a good choice, just pick your favorite and go for it!:

For the ladies of Spill...go as the female version of your favorite or one of the great comic female characters:

Now, some costumes are timless, always in style. This one, unfortunately is not one of them:

Alot of you, well at least those of you who are still reading this, may ask, "Ghostwriter, what is the most expensive costume you've seen this year?"
Well kiddies, here it is:

Listed at $699.99....too rich for my blood!

Then there are the kinds of costumes which make me think of all of our male Spillios:

So, that's about it. I could go on and on, but here are a few sites I used for this:

www.buycostumes.com

www.halloweenexpress.com

www.spirithalloween.com

If all else fails, you can always go as one of THESE guys:

As for me...I'll just hand out candy and keep an eye out for those of you who like to toss eggs at my house...wait, that was Thanksgiving weekend...weird!
