If it's crap ... We'll tell you
Hey, folks. MJ here.
Been crazy busy since the week I spent in Austin for Spill Dot Con. Got back into animation, been writing, doing a podcast, doing college and figuring out what's next.
Being in Senior Thesis right now, I've been hard at work on my first live-action film production since my .Con film "Spill: The Reel Deal". It's a dialogue-based comedy called 1-900.
Here's the poster:
It'll debut in April somewhere in Pittsburgh. Most likely the Melwood Screening Room.
But I plan to edit a trailer sometime next week of what's been shot so far, and debut it here sometime early February.
And who knows? If all goes to plan, I could work on a feature-length adaptation in coming years.
I know it's ballsy to promote such an idea at this time, but I'm reminded of something Kevin Smith said about his Red State trailer saying "March" at the end. He said it was his way promising to get something done. And, hey, maybe it can generate a buzz.
Take care, everyone.
