If it's crap ... We'll tell you
You've seen images, you've been teased, and now you're being rewarded. The first official trailer for Quentin Tarantino's 'Django Unchained' is here. I know I was excited for this film on sheer concept and strength of assembled talent alone, but holy Leone if this trailer didn't blow me away. It looks to have the same recklessly fun spirit as 'Inglourious Basterds' and cribs from so many different phenomenal westerns that it's hard to count. I'm looking forward to seeing the relationship between Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz develop throughout the course of the film. The shot at the end of Franco Nero, the star of Sergio Corbucci's 'Django' (one of my favorite b-movies of all time) asking Foxx his name is such a perfect hat-tip to Tarantino's inspiration. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.
