If it's crap ... We'll tell you

I know I was excited for this film on sheer concept and strength of assembled talent alone, but holy Leone if this trailer didn't blow me away. It looks to have the same recklessly fun spirit as 'Inglourious Basterds' and cribs from so many different phenomenal westerns that it's hard to count. I'm looking forward to seeing the relationship between Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz develop throughout the course of the film. The shot at the end of Franco Nero, the star of Sergio Corbucci's 'Django' (one of my favorite b-movies of all time) asking Foxx his name is such a perfect hat-tip to Tarantino's inspiration. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

Comment by KoreyasKevinSorbo on June 9, 2012 at 9:43pm I got an erection in the theater seeing this trailer. Leo looks like he is going to be awesome with QT's dialogue. i could listen to the you had my curiosity but now you have my attention part over and over. Very sly very smooth yet you can tell he is going to be a monstrous ass hole. Can't wait to understand the context of the scenes i saw in the trailer.

Comment by Caleb Kahn on June 9, 2012 at 1:42am DiCaprio's looking like he's having the time of his life! He might just have an Oscar in his hand after this film at last! Just the fact that Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sam Jackson, Don Johnson, Tom Savini, RZA, and Franco Nero are actually in this movie with Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Jonah Hill being associated with it at some point means that QT is up to something BIG with this! Apparently there are a few more cast additions that we don't know about! So excited! Christmas couldn't come earlier!
Comment by MahMahAfro on June 8, 2012 at 7:16pm Wanna see it, but I was hopin Tarentino would go for a more old-school spaghetti western style than this trailer seems to indicate. Would rather see Quentin do a true homage to that genre than the more predictable grind-house/blaxploitation approach.
Comment by VinnyLT on June 8, 2012 at 1:29pm maybe.. but.. Not excited for it.
