First Trailer For Ben Affleck's 'Argo'
I've been pumped to see Ben Affleck's third directorial outing 'Argo' ever since the concept was revealed. The supposedly true story of how the US government used the ruse of a fake movie to evacuate hostages from Iran in the 1970s? That's sounds interesting, right? Plus, with 'Gone Baby Gone' and 'The Town,' Affleck proved himself to be an astonishingly adept director. Now that the first trailer for the film has landed, I only want to see it more. The trailer balances humor, drama, and suspense. It also makes great use of Aerosmith's 'Dream On.' Take a look a the trailer below and let us know what you think.

Agree with Zgamer. This could be very interesting. Affleck is 2 for 2 imo. Gone Baby Gone is a classic !!

Seems to be a lighter in tone than Affleck's previous outings, but I think that is actually a good thing. Here he can show a bit more range by more deftly balancing comedy, drama and whatever is in-between. He definitely has the stellar cast to back him up, even down to the smallest roles! I am sure this will be great. Maybe finally the Academy will take notice to Affleck (provided the movie ends up being one of the year's best) or at least more than just a single acting nomination.
Speaking of which, who do you see being nominated from this cast? The safe pick is Bryan Cranston (solely because it is him and fanboys want to see him be an Oscar nominee), but perhaps John Goodman or Ben Affleck?

okay, I like it, I just hope it's not this America vs. Iran thing. I mean, there's a line in there where some dude says "we are responsible for these people." I hope that refers to American interference in Iranian politics. but I guess I'm brown, so I'm biased.
