I can't even begin to communicate how excited I am for J.J. Abrams' 'Star Trek 2.' His 2009 foray into the series provided exactly the reboot the franchise needed. When he agreed to return for the sequel, along with the entire assembled cast of the first film, I may or may not have literally jumped for joy...but totally did. Today, the first set images for the sequel have been released. The first pic sees Spock (Zachary Quinto) applying the Vulcan nerve pinch to recently cast villain Benedict Cumberbatch ('Sherlock,' 'War Horse'). Talk about a great first glimpse! The second image is not quite as exciting but does show us Uhura (Zoe Saldana) back in action. Take a look at the images below and let us know what you think.
