First Image From Universal's '2 Guns'
I'm not sure how I missed that Universal was adapting Steven Grant's pulp comic '2 Guns' into a film, but I am excited. The film will be directed by Baltasar Kormakur ('Contraband') and stars Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington. The story revolves around a pair of federal agents working in conjunction to recover millions from a Mexican cartel. The catch? Neither one knows that the other is an undercover agent. The first still from the movie has just landed online. Not a lot to it, but one gets the impression that an armed and angry Wahlberg and Washington means plenty of hurtin' is in some poor fool's future. I'd pay to watch a movie about Denzel eating a bowl of cereal, so I'm definitely looking forward to this. The concept sounds very interesting. More so than a mf eating cereal for 2 hours.

Contraband really bored the crap out of me, but Denzel has the ability to elevate anything he's in so I'll give this a chance.
