Due to Popular Demand: Matthew Hernandez's short film is on Vimeo

So for those who missed out on the USTREAM premiere and Q & A, here's the best version of the film I could post up on Vimeo.  It's a little bit different from the the one I aired on Sunday the 6th, but not by much.  If you like this film, have any comments, or just wanna give your old buddy Matt some encouragement (or money), leave a comment below, and as always, ENJOY THE FILM!!

And to elaborate, the rental order was for both the camera and the lens.

Leave it Fungusmonkey to start prying.  It was made on video, cuz my ass is too broke to afford film.  Don't ask me what the 35mm adapter was, all I know is that I paid to rent a Canon T2i and a 50mm f1.4 lens.  Borrowlenses.com was kickass.  I loved their service.  They ran out of the original lens I had asked for, which was an f1.8, and they threw in the better f1.4 lens for no extra charge.  They also ran a special the week I ordered which was "rent one week, get another week free" so the total order came out to $150 FOR TWO DAMN WEEKS (that's shipping included).  Since it only took us two days to film this, we had time to film a second project idea from another filmmaker.  And as if that wasn't enough, the week I was supposed to get my order, mother nature fudged up my shoot by freezing over Texas, so my order came five days late.  I called them up and they extended my rental for the days lost with no problems.  Highly recommend.  Definitely going to pay them again.

All right, time to spill "the deets" - film or video? If video, 35mm adapter and what lenses? What did you think of BorrowLenses? Any good? I'd love to talk shop sometime.

That was really great. I'm sorry I missed the USTREAM premiere for it.
