One of the best of the film noir genre. Double Indemnity is a brilliant thrill ride of murder, lust, lies, suspicion, and betrayal. It's a great movie, a great piece by Billy Wilder. The best thing about it is that it keeps you guessing, guessing about how it end and who will it end with? Fred MacMurray is great as the smooth talking but wide eyed insurance man and Barbara Stanwyck is one of the best femme fatale's to ever grace the silver screen. Perhaps what really gets you into it is that it's just a great classic story. It's simple in a way but complicated in another, it twists with you and for your entrainment. It's one of the best film noire ever created and no one should miss out on it.
