Doomsday to appear on Smallville tonight!

I know some of you could care less but I just wanted to let Superman fans know that tonight, Supermans killer "Doomsday" will be making his first live-action appearance on "Smallville" at 7 p.m. on the CW. I wouldn't normally post something like this but this could very well be the one and only time we'll get to see Doomsday in action, unless they actually decide to use the guy in any upcoming Superman movie. To be honest, I'm actually looking forward to it. Up Up and Away Bitches!

So he's teamed up with the JLA, fought Lex Luthor, Bizzaro, Brainiak and now doomsday. Isn't he Superman YET!? He's STILL roaming around in Smallville? To me this show just works better as a mini series or something.

Co-Host I'm so excited man, they new producers are really developing these characters and are righting so many wrongs that were established in this show, Clark working at the Daily Planet, Chloe and memory loss, Brainiac's return (again), and now they perfectly introduce Doomsday.

Keith is right about Clark. Another thing is that Clark/Superman never had much of a plan. His strength is also his weakness because he tends to be a little naive. He pretty much relies on him being "super" to give him the victory. He usually finds the villain, beats him up, and calls it a day. However, once in a while a guy comes along who can either outthink Clark (not that hard) or can go toe-to-toe with him in a fight. These are the guys that give him the most trouble. A great example is Brainiac. His friends get dragged into a lot of trouble because he doesn't think everything through. Clark is just muscle. His friends are usually the brains.

Lord T... it's about his decision-making skills, basically. In Smallville, Clark is usually his own worst enemy when it comes to strategizing stuff. Plus, there's a huge supporting cast of friends who get into trouble, and he can't sacrifice his secret identity as Supe... eh, uh, I mean, as one-of-these-days-Superman.

I'm (semi) embarrassed to say that I've seen just about every Smallville ep since the pilot, and I can't stop watching. The special FX are generally pretty good (last week's episode must've given the editors seizures, let alone the viewers), every other episode has a passable plot (then again, you're running 50/50 on completely worthless plots), they keep us comic nerds in mind more often than not, and there is apparently a "no ugly women" casting clause that keeps getting stricter as the years go by.

So I say hooray for Doomsday! But I doubt Clark dies this episode.
