Concept Art For 'Avengers' Quinjet

Is it May yet? No? Fine. I guess I'll stop waiting in line in front of my local multiplex. In the meantime, concept art has just been released giving us the details of 'The Avengers' Quinjet; the swanky ride of our consortium of superheroes. Not a lot to remark upon here as it does in fact...look like a high-tech jet. But then admittedly, I didn't read the comic books upon which this film is based. Maybe our more knowledgeable readers can help us out. How does this design compare to that of the source material?

At least its not the fucking fantastic 4 jet with Dodge written all over it!

Instead of the Bat-Plane looking like a reject from the Treminator's future in the "realism" of Nolan's Batman, the Quinjet looks like a hyper-advance plane/space shuttle.
