So far there is a perfect ensemble cast and crew attached, also I'm not apposed to there being a remake, because even if it isn't as good as the original, at least it will possibly get the masses to recognize how great the original is, it's the same way I feel about Let Me In. I mean in all fairness how many people, who aren't "movie connoisseurs", have you actually heard talk about The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo or Let The Right One In? Christ, I'm usually the movie nerd who has to show my friends movies like these, and I'm only one man, though I'm sure you're all like that.

Wasn't crazy about this at first but the cast is looking great so far!

@MuttonChop Cartoons Daniel Craig's playing Mikael Blomkvist. Plummer will be playing Henrik Vanger.

@Lasse Pedersen Stop the production? Why? If the casting is any indication, this is going to be a great movie!

As long as they make him the villain in the film I think they cast him right but as the reporter I just don't think he would work out that well. Personally not that excited for the film in its own right because the European film was just so much better in content and was rather difficult to figure out who the real killer was. I kind of have that feeling the American version is going to be dumbbed down to where you will be able to figure out the killer in the first half an hour to forty of the film.

His face alone is VERY fitting for that story.
Infact every actor so far (and director) fits the original theme and tone EXTREMELY WELL.

2 almost pefect-looking remakes coming out...1st Let Me In which will be crazy if its anything as good as the original Let The RIght One In (which im sure it will be)...and then we get to learn more about Girl With the Dragon Tattoo?? HELLYEA!!!!!!!!!
