If it's crap ... We'll tell you
Even though Steven Soderbergh ('Erin Brockovich', 'Oceans Eleven') has insisted repeatedly that he's retiring from film-making, it hasn't stopped him from signing on to a new film called 'Magic Mike' starring Channing Tatum as an experienced male stripper who teaches a younger protege the ropes of the business. Tatum, who began his career as a male stripper when he was 19, actually brought the story concept to Soderbergh personally.
Tatum, who calls his own experiences as a stripper "a wild and pivotal time" in his life, is currently shooting the '21 Jump Street' reboot with Jonah Hill, but will shoot 'Magic Mike' with Soderbergh sometime before the director begins his 'Man From U.N.C.L.E.' reboot starring George Clooney in 2012.
