In this our 58th episode of The Braingasm Podcast we are joined by reigning super fan Denis (@den1981), and later by movie wager suck master Thomas (@neozectt).

We began as we do every week with Ben doing the opening to the show so fast that even he doesn't know what was said.

After that we had a lively discussion of the past week's events, which were numerous and varied. Denis went to the dentist and heard the words every human being dreads...oops. Special shout out to David Green and all of the guys and gals over there. They rock. Ben also discussed his last day of his university degree and the mixed emotions that he has towards the end of that chapter of his life.

Moving right along, we got to What's Been Filling Our Voids. Cesca fell in love and then had her head chopped off by the tv show The Tudors. Following that Denis cast spells and solved mysteries (weird combination) with the book series

The Dresden Files. And last but not least Ben condensed a seven part review into seventy minutes in his

discussion of the stage show Potted Potter. 

After the break we got down to the nitty gritty in our commencing of the 2012 Summer Movie Wager. The game is simple but devious. Each player is given a series of movies that are coming up in the future and they are asked to guess what the film's Rotten Tomatoes score will be. However many percentage points your guess differs from the final score becomes your score for the round. Each week we will be discussing both the film that opened that week and the film that would be coming up. The two films that we discussed this week were Wrath of the Titans and American Reunion.
