If it's crap ... We'll tell you
One of the things I've been wondering about Alan Taylor's 'Thor: The Dark World,' is how directly Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) would factor into the plot. A majority of the images we had seen from the set involved Thor battling dark elves, and it was clear he'd be spending much of the film away from Earth. So where did that leave Jane? Today, we not only have new details as to her character's involvement, but a new image that shows Jane on Asgard. Standing next to Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Jane is decked out in Asgardian attire. Marvel producer extraordinaire Kevin Feige lent the following quote that offers further plot details...
"So while Thor was a fish out of water on Earth in the first two films (Thor and The Avengers), this time Jane is very much a fish out of water in Asgard. It's superhero action, but it's the familiar territory of a love triangle where the parents think your girlfriend is wrong for you."
A love triangle? Parents disapproving of their relationship? Sounds like Jane won't just be a bit player this time around after all. There was a second image revealed today, one that is more in line with what we've seen so far: Thor, angry, brandishing Mjolnir. Take a look at the images below and let us know what you think.
